Sneha (born October 12, 1981), professionally known as Sneha, is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her Malayalam cinema debut in Anil – Babu's Ingane Oru Nilapakshi (2000), and was afterward signed for the Tamil film Virumbugiren, which was only released two years later. She began to receive offers in Tamil and shifted her concentration to Tamil films, including Ennavale, in which she acted alongside R. Madhavan was the first film to be released in the same year. In 2001, she achieved her first commercial triumph with Aanandham. Following roles in several commercially successful films in the 2000s, she established herself as one of Tamil cinema's present lead heroines.
